Our holistic approach offers real hope for a productive, meaningful future for once-homeless families with complex problems.  Drueding Center directly addresses the multifaceted issues of inadequate education, unemployment, substance abuse, domestic violence, and insufficient childcare. 

As the first Philadelphia program to provide both transitional housing and comprehensive support services to women and their children, Drueding Center has become a tangible expression of
Holy Redeemer Health System’s commitment to families and an embodiment of its mission: to care, comfort, and heal. 

We call Drueding Center the place “Where Hope comes alive,” because we follow in the example of Jesus, proclaiming the hope God offers in the midst of human struggle. 

We take in families, support and work with them, and help them heal to ensure that all these families one day have the skills and resources necessary to live independently and reach their individual measures of success.
