Kathryn's Korner Thrift Shop
Kathryn’s Korner Thrift Shop ― named in honor of Drueding Center’s founder, the late Sister Kathryn Etchells, CSR ― offers free clothing to our resident and graduate families, including clothes for mothers to wear as they seek employment.
We always accept contributions and provide receipts for your tax-deductible contributions. A list of our most pressing needs can be found at our In-Kind Wish List. You can also donate gently used items to the Holy Redeemer Thrift Store, located in Hatboro, PA. All proceeds from sales benefit Holy Redeemer Women's and Children's Services, which provides funding for Drueding Center.
While Kathryn’s Korner directly benefits our families, we are also open to the public and play an important role in our immediate neighborhood by providing an affordable source for clothing, parenting items, and household needs.
With most prices under $5, it’s easy to find a bargain or even a vintage treasure and, at the same time, make a purchase that supports our critically important work. All proceeds directly benefit Drueding Center and our families.
Please stop in soon! We’re easily accessible from Northern Liberties and Fishtown ― just 1½ blocks North of Girard Avenue between 4th & 5th Streets. Our entrance is located on the east side of North Lawrence Street, between Thompson and Master Streets.
