BreastCare Support GroupsSocialization plays an important role in survivorship. That's why
Holy Redeemer offers support groups, special retreats and informative events all designed to foster emotional and physical well being.

Bucks County Breast Friends Support Group
1st Thursday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
Bucks County Breast Friends Support Group was started by Dr. Beth DuPree, a breast surgeon, and her patients Stacey Simcik and Anne Clark. This support group is intended for women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Meetings focus on providing women and men with educational information and supportive services.
Cost: FREE - To register call Anne Clark at 215-539-3010

CARES Support Group
2nd Tuesday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Holy Redeemer's CARES (Cancer Resources, Education and Support) Group is open to all cancer patients at any stage of illness and for their caregivers and/or significant others. Organized by
Holy Redeemer Bott Cancer Center, this program includes an educational session followed by a facilitator lead break-out support group session. New participants are asked to register for their first session. 
 
Cost: FREE

Living in My Genes
2nd Thursday of every other month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Come join women and men who share concerns about their genetic susceptibility to various cancers. The group is facilitated by Dr. Beth DuPree and Certified Genetic Counselor Rio Friday. To learn more, please contact Ann McHale at amchale@holyredeemer.com

Look Good, Feel Better
Wednesday, July 18 or September 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Holy Redeemer sponsors Look Good, Feel Better - a program that offers tips to help women undergoing cancer treatment look and feel better about themselves. In conjunction with the American Cancer Association and the National Cosmetology Association, topics include quick and easy makeup tricks, how to use scarves and turbans, choosing a wig, caring for it and making it look more natural.

Meta Friends
2nd Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This special support group is intended for women & men with Stage IV breast cancer. To learn more, please contact Ann McHale at amchale@holyredeemer.com
