Big sMall Walk for Breast Cancer October 29, 2011

WHAT:
        
Big sMall Walk for Breast Cancer, a two mile indoor walk held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

WHEN:       Saturday, October 29, 2011. Doors open @ 8:30 AM, walk commences at 9:30 AM.

 

WHERE:     Oxford Valley Mall, Langhorne PA, Macy’s Court, 1st Floor

 

WHY:        Hundreds of women, men, and children come together to walk in support of breast cancer detection and treatment at the Big sMall Walk for Breast Cancer. The indoor, two-mile walk allows walkers of all abilities to participate and to raise funds supporting cancer treatment and education at the Charles A and Betty Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer.

 

VISUALS:         Hundreds of walkers, Locks for Love hair donations, makeovers. Drs. Beth DuPree and Stacy Krisher of Holy Redeemer’s Comprehensive Breast Care Surgeons will lead the walk. Dr. DuPree has appeared on national and local television as an expert on breast cancer, and has written a book called A Healing Consciousness: A Doctor’s Journey to Healing.

The Charles A. and Betty Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer
is an accredited cancer program by The American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
