|Philadelphia, PA — April 28, 2014 — Holy Redeemer Hospice has been named a 2014 Hospice Honors Elite recipient, a prestigious award recognizing hospices providing the best patient care as rated by the patient’s caregiver.
Established by Deyta, this prestigious annual honor is based on the Family Evaluation of Hospice Care (FEHC) survey results from more than 1,700 partnering hospice agencies. Deyta identified Hospice Honors recipients by evaluating hospices’ performance on a set of eighteen satisfaction indicator measures. The Hospice Honors Elite recognition honors hospices scoring above the Deyta National Average on 100 percent of the evaluated questions.
“Our staff strives daily to improve patients’ quality of life while meeting each one’s unique needs. It is an honor to be recognized for their hard work, but the greatest reward is the recognition that we are providing compassionate care with dignity to those who are at end-of-their lives,” said Kimberly Bracey, Holy Redeemer Hospice and Palliative Care Supervisor.
