Holy Redeemer Hospital Hosts Cancer Support Group

Meadowbrook, PA—February 2, 2012—The Charles A. and Betty Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital is pleased to announce the formation of its new CARES Support Group. CARES (Cancer Resources, Education, and Support) includes an educational session followed by a facilitator-lead support group, and is open to all cancer patients, their caregivers, and families. Attendees will receive information on how to cope with their cancer treatment and its side effects, while having the opportunity to share their experiences with others who are undergoing similar challenges.
Sessions are free and are facilitated by Kimberly Bracey, MSN, RN, OCN, Holy Redeemer Oncology Nurse Navigator. The group meets on the second Tuesday every month from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Charles A. and Betty Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital, 1648 Huntingdon Pike, Meadowbrook.
