Surgeon Janet Krettek Joins Holy Redeemer Hospital

Meadowbrook, PA—February 17, 2012—Holy Redeemer Hospital welcomes Janet Krettek, DO, general surgeon, to its medical staff. Dr. Krettek, who is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, has 15 years of experience as a surgeon in Bay Minette, Alabama. She practices the full scope of general surgery for children and adults.
Dr. Krettek is known for spending a great deal of time with her patients, collaborating with them to explore all options, to determine if surgery is necessary and the best course of action. "I think of my practice as holistic surgery," she said. "I like to help my patients become as healthy as possible before the surgery to aid in the healing process and improve their overall well-being."
Dr. Krettek is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Chicago and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine; she completed her internship and residencies in hospitals in Illinois and Michigan, with extensive training and experience in laparoscopic surgery.
