Patient Satisfaction
Holy Redeemer is committed to our mission to care, comfort and heal, and to providing excellent healthcare services to our community. Because the opinion of our patients and residents is so important to our efforts of continuously improving our quality of care, we have contracted with a nationally recognized firm, Press Ganey Associates, Inc., to help us gather and analyze satisfaction survey results for acute care, physician services and home health. In 2008, for long-term care services we partnered with Holleran Consulting, Inc.
You may receive a survey in the mail from Press Ganey if you use one of our acute care services (inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ambulatory surgery), home health or hospice services. For those who live in one of the residential facilities, Holleran will send out a survey by mail (Independent) or contact the resident by telephone (Personal Care & Nursing). The satisfaction surveys ask patients and residents to give us their opinion of their entire experience. The surveys are returned directly to each company who verifies that the results are processed objectively. The results of these surveys are trended within Holy Redeemer and compared to other organizations of similar size nationwide. The results help us to identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to meet the needs and expectations of our patients, residents and family members.
