Pediatrics
Every child has special healthcare needs; every pediatrician has a unique approach to helping you care for your child.
Holy Redeemer's pediatricians offer the compassion, care and skill you require when it comes to your child's health.
And, if the need arises for specialty care, Holy Redeemer's pediatric specialists offer expertise in a variety of areas, such as allergy and immunology, cardiology, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, psychiatry, psychology and surgery.
If a hospital stay becomes necessary, Holy Redeemer Hospital offers dedicated pediatric inpatient services. A critical component of this program is a group of inpatient pediatricians with in-depth experience in the care of hospitalized children. This team is available to meet your child's needs 24-hours a day.  Our inpatient physicians are board-certified or board-eligible attending pediatricians.

To promote continuity of care, your child's referring pediatrician will receive a daily verbal report and a detailed discharge summary.

Holy Redeemer's pediatric unit is staffed by pediatric nurses and equipped to provide quality care for your child, helping to make their stay a comfortable experience. One-to-one nursing capabilities are also available for seriously ill children.

We understand that leaving your child at the hospital is not an easy thing to do. So, we welcome you to stay overnight with your little one. We've added a few amenities to our pediatric unit to make your stay more comfortable: a sleep bench or folding cot, use of the bathroom and shower in your child's room and a parent lounge for those all-important breaks.

Pediatric Rehabilitation Services
In addition to Holy Redeemer's extensive adult rehabilitation services, rehabilitation services are also available for children with a range of conditions - from acute orthopedic injuries to learning disabilities and developmental delays.

Our expert pediatric therapists conduct a comprehensive evaluation to develop an individualized treatment plan. We offer individual therapy, aquatic therapy and therapy groups for peer interaction. Patient and family education is an important component of our care.
