Is there any advantage to giving appreciated securities in place of cash?
In addition to furthering the goals and success of Holy Redeemer Health System, appreciated securities may also provide additional tax benefits to the donor. It is best to speak with your financial advisor for information, or contact a Holy Redeemer Development Officer to request a Securities Donation Stock Tranfer form.

Is it true that I may make a Lifetime Income Gift that will benefit Holy Redeemer Health System while at the same time providing a guaranteed income stream to me?

Can I decide where my gift is applied?
A donor gift can be designated to either as General Unrestricted whereupon the health system will use the money where most needed, or it can be restricted to any one of 85 funds used for a specific purpose.

To satisfy the tax code, when must my gift be given?
Gifts must be postmarked by December 31 of the year in which you want the tax benefit. There are no exceptions.
