There are many reasons to consider using in-home private support services. Some people appreciate the comfort of a familiar face – whether they are in the hospital, at home or in a long-term care facility. Others, who must manage chronic problems on their own, feel more confident with an experienced nurse to supervise or provide care. And for some, assistance with personal care or daily chores, or respite for family caregivers is the answer.
In-home private support services offer professional skill, combined with care and attention to the individual. Before selecting an in-home private support agency, ask yourself these important questions to ensure that your or your loved one is receiving the best care possible.

- Who supervises patient care?

- Who pays the caregiver?

- Am I responsible for the employees state and federal taxes?
