Following the loss of a loved one can be a challenging experience and grieving is a process that is different for everyone.
For 13 months after the loss of a loved one, the bereavement counselors at Holy Redeemer Hospice continue to provide support for the family through support groups, mailings, counseling and one-on-one encouragement, all at no additional fee. Memorial services are held twice annually and provide family members with an opportunity for remembrance.
If continued care is needed after 13 months, the professional counselors at the Holy Redeemer Counseling Center, which also offers a Bereavement Support Group, can help the family cope with grief, which, for some, can be prolonged.

SUPPORT GROUPS IN NEW JERSEY
Monthly Grief Support Group (Day) - Egg Harbor Township
First Thursday of each month from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This group allows you to to share your hospice experience with other caregivers going through the same thing. Topics include: learn how to pick up the pieces; who am I?; grief support; and the next chapter.

Monthly Understanding Grief Workshop (Day) - Swainton
2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
This group is professionally facilitated and designed to offer an atmosphere where individuals can freely express their feelings about losing someone they love and receive support from peers. Refreshments will be served.
