Breast Cancer Screening

Redeemer Health offers routine mammograms at our convenient Bensalem, Huntingdon Valley, Feasterville, Northeast PhiladelphiaSouthampton locations.

Mammography can detect breast cancer before a lump becomes large enough to be felt, and improve overall survival from cancer due to early detection.

Current mammography guidelines for women at average risk are:

  • Women 40 and older should have a mammogram every year
  • Women 20 – 39 should have a clinical breast exam every one to three years

However, your healthcare provider may recommend another strategy based on your family and medical history.

Redeemer Health also offers 3D mammograms for women concerned about breast cancer symptoms. If anything concerning is detected, we provide the latest biopsy technologies, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic by MRI, and transducer, which can be used instead of a needle biopsy.
