Holy Redeemer Earns Distinctions for Care and Service

Our Patients Inspire Excellence in Care and Service
The health and well-being of our patients is front and center to all we do, and continually inspires us to go above and beyond in delivering high-quality care. Our commitment to provide you with excellence in care and service has recently resulted in special distinctions across our health care system.

Hospital Earns an A for Safety
Our attention to safety has led The Leapfrog Group, a national independent watchdog organization, to award Holy Redeemer Hospital with its topmost safety grade for Fall 2020. Every six months The Leapfrog Group grades all general hospitals across the country on an A to F scale, with A recognized as a mark of distinction in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, infections, and other harms to patients. “This A is a testament to the care and commitment of those who work for Holy Redeemer Hospital. With the current pandemic exposing existing flaws within the U.S. health care system, we appreciate you putting patient safety first. Lives depend on it,” says Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group.

Life Care Communities Earn Top-Level Rankings
Because of the high-quality, compassionate care provided by St. Joseph Manor staff, the community has been named a best nursing home in Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes 2021. “This is an extraordinary honor! The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic strengthened the resolve of our team to carry out Redeemer’s mission to care, comfort, and heal. With great determination, immense resourcefulness, and heartfelt concern the team never missed a beat in supporting residents and each other with exceptional thoughtfulness and grace. Every day, team members from all parts of the community joined together to ensure optimal wellness and safety for residents,” says Ellie Nocito, Vice President at St. Joseph Manor.

Exceptional care and service by the team at Little Flower Manor (an affiliated Holy Redeemer Life Care community) and Holy Redeemer’s Transitional Care Unit has led U.S. News and World Report to bestow both facilities with a five-star rating, the highest possible, in the U.S. News and World Report's 2020-21 Best Nursing Home ratings. The ratings reflect a facility’s quality of post-acute care for patients recovering from a hospital stay, as well as its ability to care for residents who need daily assistance with medical and non-medical needs.

"Best In" Distinctions
Across our health care system, we've earned several "best in or best of" distinctions. Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice Jersey Shore has been selected as a “Best in Home Health Care” in the Press of Atlantic City’s Best of The Press Reader’s Choice Awards. Additionally, Holy Redeemer Hospice was named as a finalist in the “Best of 2020” by the Bucks County Courier Times  and Holy Redeemer Hospital as a finalist in the “Best of 2020” by the Intelligencer.
