Giving to Holy Redeemer

Holy Redeemer encompasses multiple services and ministries in HealthCare, HomeCare and LifeCare. Giving to Holy Redeemer strengthens our ability to deliver the highest quality care throughout the communities we serve in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Each charitable gift makes it possible to expand Holy Redeemer’s services and ministries, and support innovation in care delivery. For more than 90 years, these gifts allow us to chart a vision for the future while upholding the mission and values of the Sisters of the Redeemer — to Care, Comfort and Heal.

Your gift will help enhance the lives of fellow community members and lay the foundation for the future of community healthcare. Unrestricted gifts to Holy Redeemer are especially welcomed, as they allow us to address priority needs and initiatives. Gifts may also be directed to support specific Holy Redeemer services and ministries, including:

  • Holy Redeemer Hospital
  • Holy Redeemer St. Joseph Manor
  • Holy Redeemer Lafayette
  • Holy Redeemer HomeCare and Hospice
  • Drueding Center
  • Holy Redeemer Food Pantries

Drueding Center

The Sisters of the Redeemer founded Drueding Center in 1987 as Project Rainbow. We serve the most vulnerable, helping them recover the dignity of standing on their own. We are unique among Philadelphia’s transitional housing organizations in the length of time we stay involved with families—up to seven years after they leave Drueding Center—and in the quality and breadth of our interconnected programs. Learn more about Drueding Center here.

Holy Redeemer Thrift Store

The Holy Redeemer Thrift Store sells reasonably priced furniture, clothing, housewares, jewelry or knick-knacks. All proceeds from sales benefit Holy Redeemer Women's and Children's Services, which provides funding for Drueding Center, a transitional housing facility for homeless women and children, and the Holy Redeemer Maternity Center. Learn more about our thrift store here.

Care and Comfort Projects

At Holy Redeemer, our many volunteers enjoy giving their time and talents to enhance our patients’ and residents’ experiences. In an effort to expand our volunteers’ capacity to care and comfort, Holy Redeemer has established a Care and Comfort Project Fund. Monetary donations to this fund will directly support the office of Volunteer Services with materials for projects, programs, and additional volunteer initiatives. Thank you for your contribution.
