Healthy Kids Running Series is back

We're so excited to announce our Healthy Kids Running Series in Huntingdon Valley is back! The series starts April 8th and runs Sunday evenings 5pm-6pm through May 6th. Kids 2 to 13 years old will run a course ranging from 50 yards to 1 mile. This Spring we've got a great track course and fun activities planned. Please join us to encourage healthy lifestyles of our future generations together!

This past fall, we had a great first Huntingdon Valley race. With over 70 runners, we raced and excelled over the course of five weeks. We had representatives from Holy Redeemer's Pediatric Urgicare, Fitness Center, Pediatric Rehab and amazing volunteers to run with and cheer on the kids!

The cost is $35 per child for the series and includes a t-shirt, water bottle, and participation medal. Registration is now open!

Was your child born at Holy Redeemer Health System? If so, please email for a $5 off registration code!

Please join us on the Huntingdon Valley HKRS Facebook for regular updates, and to RSVP to the series' event here.

Running could be some of the extra curricular activities for kids to loss some calories from their sugar intake from candies and other sweets that they can see at stores or at the fridge. This could also be done as a bonding time for parents to create some memorable moments with their kids.
