Holy Redeemer Hospital Earns Mission: Lifeline Achievement and Get with the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Awards from American Heart Association

Huntingdon Valley, PA—October 2, 2017—Holy Redeemer Hospital has received the Mission: Lifeline® Silver Receiving Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks.

Holy Redeemer Hospital is dedicated to improving the quality of care for our patients who suffer a heart attack. Our team of dedicated EMS personnel, physicians, nurses, technicians and therapists provide our patients with the highest level of care utilizing nationally respected clinical guidelines through the American Heart Association’s Mission Lifeline program. Our commitment is to have our patients reach life saving intervention as close to the onset of symptoms as possible.

Holy Redeemer Hospital is also proud to announce receiving the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award with Target: StrokeSM Honor Roll Elite Plus. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to providing the most appropriate stroke treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.

Hospitals must achieve 85 percent or higher adherence to all Get with The Guidelines-Stroke achievement indicators for two or more consecutive 12-month periods and achieve 75 percent or higher compliance with five of eight Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality measures to receive the Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award.
