Patient Satisfaction

Holy Redeemer is committed to our mission to care, comfort and heal, and to providing excellent healthcare services to our community. Because the opinion of our patients, residents and their families is so important to our efforts of continuously improving our quality of care, we regularly distribute surveys to obtain feedback on their experiences to gauge how we are doing compared to organizations of similar size nationwide. We use this feedback to help us identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to meet the needs and expectations of our patients, residents and their families.

You may receive a survey in the mail from Press Ganey Associates, Inc. if you use one of our acute care (inpatient, outpatient, emergency, ambulatory surgery), physician or home health services. For those who live in one of our residential facilities, Holleran Consulting, Inc. will send out a survey by mail (for independent living residents) or contact the resident by phone (for personal and nursing care residents). The satisfaction surveys ask patients and residents to give us their opinion of their entire experience. The surveys are returned directly to each company who verifies that the results are processed objectively.

Additionally, Holy Redeemer participates in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys for hospitals and home health agencies.  The results allow consumers to make fair and objective comparisons between hospitals and home health agencies.  In addition, comparisons to state and national benchmarks are available.  Full results for Holy Redeemer Hospital and Holy Redeemer HomeCare can be found on
